At Auskut, we are committed to protecting your privacy as a customer, supplier, and online visitor to our website. We use the information we collect about you to maximise the services that we provide and to effectively manage our business relationships. We respect the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you and adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Please read our privacy policy below carefully.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

In the course of your interactions with us – including visiting our website, purchasing our products, or engaging with us as a supplier or business partner – we may obtain the following information about you:

This information is referred to collectively as ‘Personal Data’.

Our services are not directed to persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Data, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you are the parent or guardian of a child and you believe they have provided us with Personal Data without your consent, then please contact us.

You can review, correct, update or delete your Personal Data by either logging into your account or contacting us directly.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Personally Identifiable Information: We use the information we collect to deliver our services and managing relationships, including:

  • communicating with you and providing technical support

Any information you choose to make publicly available (e.g. blog comments, testimonials) will be visible to others. If you later remove it, cached or copied versions may remain elsewhere.

STORAGE AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use secure, cloud-based systems to manage customer, supplier and staff information. These include Cin7 Core (inventory and customer records), Xero (accounting), MailChimp (marketing), Zoho WorkDrive (document storage), and Pencil Pay (account applications and payments).

These service providers may store and process date in Australia, New Zealand, the United States or other regions with adequate privacy protections. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas providers we use protect personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. Credit card information is processed securely by third party payment processors and is not stored by us.

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide services to you, meet legal obligations, or manage our business relationships. We take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information once it is no longer required.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including promptly notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.
